American Greetings

NDi Media has created both an Official as well as a Premium website to compliment and extend the Mama Mirabelle brand and television series. Mama Mirabelle is an elephant adventurer who shows her live action animal videos to animals she cares for like Karla (a zebra), Bo (a cheetah) and Max (her baby elephant son). Scholastic goes digital with NDi Media!

September 2007 - On the heels of its success with Scholastic, NDi Media was hired by the digital division of Scholastic, eScholastic, to create games to accompany their book series. NDi Media is proud to announce it will be launching three new interactive websites for eScholastic, due to be delivered this winter.

Treasure Hunters is an exciting pirate quest game which complements the Scholastic book of the same name. Aimed at 9 to 11 year olds, players get cues in the book which prompts them to check out the website. Kids must solve a variety of puzzles to get to the treasure and can then redeem points to attain their own avatar, compare their treasure ranking with others in the community, swap treasure with them, and collect stamps of different places they have visited on the map.

In Ultimate Space, visitors are treated to a flash digging game, with missions based on Scholastic book themes. Geared mainly towards boys from 9 to 12 years old, the site also features NASA videos, a Space Club section, and premium members will even get complementary access to slooh.com, where they can use points accumulated in the game to purchase space station parts and décor!

Last but certainly not least, Friend2Friend promises loads of fun and camaraderie for girls between the ages of 9 and 12. The site is based on books by Scholastic whose themes range from friendship to school to fashion to boredom busters. Once logged in, users will be able to create their own websites (with their own URL!). They can then add photos and pictures which can be rated by other users. They can also participate in message boards, check out how many of their friends are online, answer polls and much more!

NDi Media does arithmetic with Scholastic!

September 2007 - Considered a separate project but also residing on Scholastic’s upcoming Study Jams website, Step-By-Step is composed of a series of 85 mathematical exercises, presented in a simple, step-by-step format.

NDi Media rocks with Scholastic!

September 2007 - NDi has licensed its Mixing Studio to Scholastic for their upcoming Study Jams website, set to be launched later this winter. This music mixer allows players to mix and record their own tracks, and even download mp3’s of songs they create themselves!

There are two modes in the Mixing Studio: jamming and recording. Players can simply play around with different sounds which loop continuously. The player assigns loops to the different tracks, mixes the audio, activates a few stingers, and changes their mind as they please. When they feel they have created something they would like to keep, they can record a song with a beginning and an end. Players can then listen to their composition (Play), name and save their recording to the studio playlist (Save), or discard and record new mixes or songs (Record).

NDi delivers Barney for HIT Entertainment (formerly the Jim Henson Company)

August 2007 - NDi Media is pleased to have the opportunity to work with such a well known brand. This game offers a fun introduction to music for very young players. With the infamous Barney as their companion, children use memory recognition to guess which song they are hearing while bopping to the beats. Here’s what Jennifer Vaux, Director of Children’s Programming, had to say about NDi:

“I would just like to thank you and your team for the fantastic job they have done on the Barney interactive titles.  You have a very talented team whom I highly recommend working with as we are very pleased with the product they have delivered on two interactive titles for this new and difficult platform.”

Supercitizens game delivered to TVOntario

March 2007 - A series of mini-quests, this game is meant to show kids what being a good citizen means. Professor Atlas and his superhero team - Atomic Guy, Nifty Girl, Fly Girl and Enviro Girl - grapple with some very big issues in their lively and sometimes challenging world. In a specially timed release, NDi Media delivered this game to coincide with kid’s spring break. Challenge yourself at http://www.ndimedia.com/tvo/

January 2007 - NDi's own wise, loveable walrus and friends are back in action with a new, fun filled mission! Kids will be able to visit the immersive environment on PBS' Premium website. NDi greatly appreciates the generous support of Telefilm New Media for this production.
