Welcome to our blog about autism and Expressive Language Delay

At NDi, we’re always looking for new ways to create meaningful, interactive content for young children. For over 15 years we have worked with some of the best-known media companies and some of the world’s most iconic brands. This helped us to develop a deep-seated expertise in how to communicate with and engage young children in both learning and in play.

In 2014, we decided to take on a new and important challenge. We embarked on a special project intended to help kids with autism and Expressive Language Delay.

Along the way, we learned a tremendous amount about what it’s like to live with autism, caring for a person with autism and getting help from organizations and individuals. We gained a better understanding and appreciation of the problems and challenges these kids face, and insights towards developing ways we could help.

We’d like to use this blog to share what we’ve learned with you.

In the coming weeks we will discuss topics such as A History of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices, Diagnosing and Treating Autism – A Short History, The Prevalence of Autism and ELD, The Changing Role of Parents and Caregivers among many others. We’ll also use this forum to introduce you to our team. So let’s get started.
